Apogee Communications offers services for Client Publishers wishing to use high quality translators for their localization work. These services include:
- Priority Notification. Once translators appear on our public lists, they are inundated with translation requests. By being the first to know of a new translator in a target language, a Client Publisher has an advantage in approaching the new translator for their work.
- Certification Requests. While Apogee will process translator certifications as they come in, if a Client Publisher has a specific request (“We need a Finnish translator with a background in medicine.”), Apogee will actively seek out such a translator, test, investigate and, where appropriate, Certify him/her.
- Consulting. All localizations are different, with many issues. Apogee is available for consulting on a variety of issues for Client Publishers for no additional charge up to a pre-determined number of hours.
- Billing Services. Some large publishers have avoided employing individual translators due to the necessity of setting up each new translator with their Accounts Payable department. Apogee can offer a one-stop service, where Apogee will bill for all translators collectively, process the purchase orders and distribute funds to each of the translators’ accounts. For tax purposes, Client Publishers can be billed from Apogee’s parent, Solon Enterprises, a Class “C” California corporation.
Annual fees for inclusion in the Client Publisher program are gauged to be a fraction of adding a single full-time employee to your localization department.
Pricing comes in three categories:
• Large enterprise (over 500 employees)
• Middle enterprise (50 to 499 employees)
• Small enterprise (fewer than 50 employees)
